CloverEats: NeoPapalis in Ann Arbor
NeoPapalis has great reviews on Yelp, a 4.5, and so I was really excited to try them out. While I love the design and concept of customizable pizzas, I was terribly disappointed in the Chicken BBQ on a Bianca base (Herb-Butter base, Asiago and Mozzarella Cheese, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Honey) that we got. It was really tasteless, barely having any barbecue flavor to it. Although the ingredients seemed fresh, the whole pizza was just really bland.
The sandwich, curry chicken with mozzarella, artichoke, and pineapple was slightly more flavorful, but on the whole just tasted salty. It was nice to be able to customize our dishes, but for how great NeoPapalis was supposed to be, the food we got absolutely did not live up to our expectations.

Have heard people rave that it’s better than Mani and Bigalora but I haven’t tried it yet. Will have to check it out!

What! Maybe it’s just the chef who was cooking that day, but I’ve had better pizza from Dominos. Was really disappointed. Let me know if you think their stuff is tasty, and maybe I’ll give it another try sometime.
