About

Once upon a time, Clover was a hungry student in the Chicago area.  She then moved to Ann Arbor.  She now resides in New Haven, and frequently visits New York City.  She wishes this site could have been called “Clover Cooks!” because she likes alliteration, but alas, Clover does not really cook.

Clover also features a series of guest bloggers, friends who have generously contributed their witty views:

Profiles-1-2 Kevin – A true foodie if ever there was one; this is the guy who plans out trips meal-by-meal.  Also an astute follower of the Ann Arbor food scene, overall culinary enthusiast.
Profiles-1-3 Fred – the chef of the household, and patient dining partner, despite his frequent “will you please hurry up and take your photos so I can eat?” expression.
Profiles-2 Nancy – A fellow Chicago/AnnArbor citizen, has been known to whip up delectable late-night baked goods, host underground restaurant dinner parties in her apartment, and is an Elite Yelp reviewer.

  1. Thanks, Clover! I just approved your blog claim. Now your Urbanspoon profile picture is displayed on your blog page. You can upload a blog-specific photo if you prefer, and can change a few other blog settings there. Also, if you vote for a restaurant that you’ve reviewed on your blog, we now show your vote next to your post everywhere on our site.

  2. Hi Clover! I wanted to send you private message, but couldn’t find your contact. As a fellow Wolverine, I’m so psyched about finding your blog! I came across it when researching for a story–I featured your photo and blog in the BF list http://www.buzzfeed.com/tashweenali/best-restaurants-in-ann-arbor. Just wanted to check that it was alright. If not, we can certainly remove it. Totally cool either way, just let me know. Thank you for writing about Ann Arbor! Keep up the awesome posts.

  3. Hi Clover,

I’m a Senior at the School of Art & Design at UofM working on an Ann Arbor Food & Restaurant Guide for college students. Your photos are so lovely! I was wondering if you’d give me permission to use your photos in my designs as I would credit you for them! Please let me know, I think they’re wonderful! You can email me if you’d like!

  4. Hey Nancy, Fred, and Kevin,

I hope all is well and that you are having a great week so far! My name is Robert Greenfield, and I’m a senior at the University of Michigan in the College of Engineering. I follow your blog and love your posts, and was wondering if I could collaborate with you.

As a foodie myself, me and a few of my co-founders are developing a web and mobile application that can enable people to find places to eat and recipes based on their dietary lifestyle. We have developed the beta version and would love your feedback!

We currently support the Greater Detroit Area, Ann Arbor, NYC, and SF. Let me know your thoughts and thank you!
