Snapshot: Vino Volo and Illy at DTW
Most of the time, I just grab McDonald’s when I’m at the airport, but I was surprised to find a couple places that got pretty hefty Yelp stars at DTW.
It’s a really nice place for an airport restaurant, there’s a nice, hip, relaxing vibe.

I love it when places offer flights. Here, I got the Shades of White flight. Often, whites all taste the same to me, but this time, my favorite was definitely the Giesen Sauvignon Blanc. It was much smoother than the other two. I especially liked how these flights came labelled with descriptions and graphs!
We got a little sandwich and truffle mac and cheese, both of which were pretty tasty, but nothing that special. They were both pretty small.

Afterwards, we stopped by at illy for some espresso and tiramisu!
Next time, I want to try out this swanky looking bar. Just look at all those businessmen networking.
