CloverEats: Umi Sushi in Ann Arbor
Umi Sushi is on Plymouth, below an apartment complex that also has a gym and a Sweetwaters. I’ve always found it interesting how similar sushi restaurants are and Umi is no exception. There is a parking lot outside, and a gym next door should you want to work out and then have a healthy meal!
We got plum wine, oyakodon (chicken and egg over rice), the Diablo roll (spicy sauce, tuna, avocado, cucumber, oshinko, soft shell crab) and the Michigan roll (cucumber, crabsalad with salmon and avocado). They were pretty good.
The sushi is on par with most of the mid-level sushi restaurants in Ann Arbor, like Nagomi or Saica. However, the waitress, while never exactly rude, was quite curt.
