CloverRevisits: soul-warming pho at Ann Arbor’s Tomukun!
Despite an unimpressive first visit, Tomukun has really grown on me. I love, love, love their pork bun appetizer (pictured above), and once I realized they had pho on their menu, I got hooked. It’s literally three blocks from Fred’s place, and somehow has become our go-to spot for noodles and don katsu. I decided to do two revisit posts with my new 50mm f/1.8, one featuring the original pho bowl, and one featuring the pho ramen; I alternate between the two and have lost count of how many times I’ve been here in the last few months.
Tomukun also has a great late night option, where flavored soju and sake are on sale! Fred likes the nigori sake, but I really go for the yogurt-flavored soju. Yum!
Check them out on Yelp or their official website!
Not trying to be a jerk, but I didnt expect this place to be in ann arbor just by the looks of it. Looks like a place I would probably frequent. The photos are really good. Keep it up and check us out.

I have to go back there. I’ve had great experiences each time I went. @eataduck – it’s definitely not an A2 type place, which I love about it.
